Captain America is a pretty inspiring guy all around. Captain America has had quite the journey in the MCU films, from a scrawny kid in Brooklyn fighting bullies in alleyways to a leader of the Avengers to a fugitive after the events of Civil War. He has always been a figure for the ideals of America, whether America in actuality lives up to those ideals or not. From his origins in comics fighting Nazis, Captain America calls attention to World War II and the horrors that can happen when certain people think they are better than others.

This is a powerful quote that he says during the events of the first Avengers film. One thing Steve Rogers is known for is his loyalty to his friends. One of the things that makes Captain America so relatable as a character, even after he becomes a super soldier, is that he has a lot of heart. Coming from the World War II generation and time period, Cap has a lot to say about freedom and what America should stand for. Even when institutions and the government let him down, Captain America is still there to uphold the values of freedom and equality and fight for them to his last breath.

Cause I don't know what I'm going to do if it doesn't'". This is a more badass quote from him than usual and speaks to the side of him that is willing to break rules if it means doing what he thinks is right.

He is all about saving people and following his own moral compass which is a message we can all learn from. This is both an inspiring and funny quote. We are pretty sure that, if given the chance, Captain America definitely would have knocked out Hitler more than two hundred times, and he does fight and win over Red Skull.

One of the best things about Cap is how he stands up for the little guy. He was a little guy himself who never backed down from a fight. Whether the bully is a big, mean jerk in Brooklyn or a purple alien like Thanos, Captain America is here to keep other people safe from bigots and bullies.

This line really gets to everything that Captain America stands for. This is a man who believes that if you get knocked down a million times, you get up a million and one times. But, these qualities are what make him willing to sacrifice himself for others and do whatever he must to save the world. Amanda is a freelance writer in NYC.
